I'm trying to figure out if I have to enter what is in box 14 in the other wage adjustments section on the State portion or do I skip that?

OK, what state? And what items in box 14 (I assume that this is on your W-2, right)?
I suspect that you are a New Jersey resident, but before I go answering things, I need to know know what state and what items we are talking about.
The state is New Jersey and the things in box 14 are pens414(h) , sec 125, ui/hc/we, tdi & flu. Then there is something I've never seen there before that says $511sick, $$200 sick & Emerg sick. Would you happen to know what they mean?
The $511sick and the $200sick refer to tax credits that your employer can get for paying you under the Covid rules rather than just letting you go. This does not have an impact on your tax return, it's just that your employer needs to document any amounts paid to you under this program. Please see this IRS page but remember that all you need to do is to put these in category "Other" and then ignore them.
The pens414(h) and the sec125 will need to be added back to state income.
The ui/hc/we are taxes that go under the category of "NJ UI/WF/SWF tax".
The flu may be "NJ FLI Tax".
Is tdi actually "NJ SDI tax"? Your payroll people should know.
If you put these last three in their own categories, they will be added to state taxes paid on Schedule A.
