State Income Tax

Aloha,

I previously purchased the Federal version of Turbotax 2018 (i.e., disc media) so as to prepare my 2018 Federal income tax return. Since I live in Washington state (a non-income tax state), I only needed the Federal version. However, I have a friend who lives on Maui (HI) who would like me to prepare his 2018 Federal and Hawaiian income tax returns. I can do his Federal return using my 218 Federal version, but I assume I'll need to purchase the Hawaii state version for 2018. If my assumption is correct, how do I go about purchasing that state version for 2018? And since my friend would be paying me for this additional software capability, how much will the Hawaii state version cost?

The price for a state tax program when using the TurboTax desktop editions is currently $44.99

To purchase and download a state tax program using the desktop editions, click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen. Click on Download State.
