It is ridiculous that noone has an answer. Experts don't have an answer. I called Turbo Tax and they wanted to charge me an extra $100 to speak to someone who might have an answer.
I have tried everything. Windows, Mac, iPad, iPhone, Firefox, Chrome, Edge, & Safari. Cleared caches. Deleted histories. Deleted cookies. Ate some cookies. Went into tax tools and deleted the form. Retried and got nowhere.
The only thing I refused to try was manually entering rather than importing my stock and crypto accounts because if that's the problem than its a software bug. I have over 200 transactions that would need to be entered and for that I'll just pay an accountant to figure it out.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
If the form is not ready, changing your browser is not going to help you.
going to an accountant, rather than waiting another week or two, is foolish.
I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. I GUESS WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR TURBO TAX TO RELEASE AN UPDATE???
I have no problem waiting. TurboTax says the form is updated and published but clearly it is not.
I just need an answer. Is it a glitch or did I do something wrong?
On a side note I just purchased the desktop download to try. Doesn't work there either. Even worse is the desktop version doesn't import .csv therefore I couldn't properly do all my crypto. Now I hope they refund me that $100 smh!
Take a look at the following TurboTax help article regarding your situation. Click the link in the article to register your email and be notified with updates.
I suspect TurboTax doesn't like the old NJ-DOP on your return even though TurboTax is updated.
Delete your NJ-DOP form and TurboTax should re-add it.
This is just a guess on my part. I haven't tried it.
