We Won't Be Able to E-File Your Return

This has never happened before. I am filing the exact return I always file. I even tried removing CA data and doing it again but it still is not working. Could somebody help here? I would really appreciate it. I am stuck.

I am attaching the following:

1. Error Message

2. All the forms in my return

The error indicates that you reported the LLC as something other than a "Disregarded Entity".

If you file Schedule C as a single-member limited company I suggest you look over the LLC Income Wks.

It looks to me as if you selected something that is triggering the CA state return to think you are something other than Self-Employed.

You DO want to select Disregarded Entity unless your business is something else.

Thanks. I've removed state and redone at least 2-3 times but I can't seem to figure out what exactly is causing it be other than "disregarded entity". Where exactly should I look for this? Is there a way to focus on an area that does this calculation? Any help would be appreciated.

The area that does this is where you are setting up your self-employment income, not on the California return.

Go back to your business and click 'edit' on the right and walk through the questions that the system gives you.  Pay close and careful attention to the answers that you're giving.  It asks about several uncommon situations and you should be entering your income as a self-employed business, not any of the weird situations that might make California sit up and take notice.
