My NY State return was rejected because it says my state income can't exceed my federal income. I looked into this, and Turbo Tax takes the federal income and inputs it in a way that the whole of my income is taxable in New York. I am a Colorado resident and most of my income came from here. I only made $965 in New York in 2019. How can I adjust this to be accurate on my 203 form?

You should file the NY nonresident return before you file the CO resident return. TurboTax will transfer everything and when you go through the state return, you will be able tell TurboTax what income is sourced in NY.
Once you've determined that you need to file a NY nonresident state return (you do), the first thing you want to do is make sure you've filled out the Personal Info section correctly:
After you finish your federal return, you'll automatically move to the State tab, where you'll see your nonresident state(s) listed in addition to your resident state.
Tip: To ensure accurate calculations, always complete the non-resident return first if filing in multiple states because your resident state might give you a credit for any taxes paid in that situation.
