Maryland State Tax Error - Enter Tax Liability

So as I'm filling out my TurboTax form, the SmartFix error highlighted a part where I have to "enter the tax liability from 2019 Form 502, line 34 or Form 505, Line 37 (Enter '0' if no tax was owed)".

Now I used TurboTax last year but accidentally deleted the entire file.

I never had to owe taxes and got a refund last year. So would it be safe to just put $0 into the box?

Maryland State Tax Error - Enter Tax Liability

No. Do not put $0 in the box. Use the actual tax liability from your 2019 Maryland tax return.

If you do not have a copy for your 2019 Maryland return, fill out Maryland Form 129 and get a copy.

Your tax liability and your refund are two different things. Your tax liability is the amount of tax owed on your income. If your withheld more than your tax liability, you will receive a refund.

For example, if you earned $25,000 in Maryland, your tax liability would be $875. If you had $1,000 withheld from your pay, your refund would be $125.
