Yes, you can itemize deductions on the Ohio state tax return even if you did not itemize on the federal. Unreimbursed long-term care insurance premiums, unsubsidized health care insurance premiums and excess health care expenses are all deductible expenses.
I have premiums paid for LTC---they are deductible in Ohio but where do i enter them
