Hi..I am 17 years old and filed my taxes this year through turbo tax. I recieved a refund from the State of Oregon back in February and today I got a letter in the mail stating that I owe $144.91

First review the letter and your return carefully ... are they correct ? Did you make an error ?

If you did not purchase Audit Defense:

TurboTax has a special phone number for help with IRS tax letters, which will be easier than going through regular Customer Support. At the page below, click on the blue button that says "Get Help from TurboTax Support". Then it will ask you what tax year is your letter. Then it will ask you what the letter concerns. Then it will show you the phone number during posted business hours.

It might be this error in the Software.....there's a telephone number in this FAQ to call, (but I'm not sure the 9PM hour closing hour is correct....so call in the daytime)
