I have used TurboTax for several years and always had very good success and comfort with the computed tax to be paid or refunded. I recently moved from Texas to Oklahoma for family, but still work in Texas occasionally as I have a consulting business. Oklahoma recently sent me a notice of adjusted state income reporting due to exclusion of Texas earnings not reported on Oklahoma state tax return. I used TurboTax to compute the Oklahoma state income tax required. TurboTax did not apparently compute the Oklahoma state tax correctly, and now I am required to pay an additional $975.31 (overdue taxes + penalty). Why did TurboTax not compute the correct tax on my 2021 return?

AUDIT SUPPORT
TurboTax has a special phone number for help with IRS/state tax letters, which will be easier than going through regular Customer Support. At the page below, click on the blue button that says "Get Help from TurboTax Support". Then it will ask you what tax year is your letter. Then it will ask you what the letter concerns. Then it will show you the phone number during posted business hours.
