NYS Senate S4374 gives a thousand dollar state credit for first responders in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. How do we make this apply to our 2020 taxes.

Anything that was actually passed into law and part of the tax return will be in the state module.  Review the state module carefully, especially the page listing "state-specific credits and deductions." If its not listed on that page, it's not part of the state tax return.

I don't think that bill S4373 (not 4374) ever passed.
