NYC form 1127

For my 2025 return: My wife had received a W2 from her city agency. We are not residents of the city and hence have to complete NYC form 1127. However, her employment with the city ended in October 2024. She did get some remaining wages in early 2025. And hence the city agency sent her a W2 form to show income. I did not receive NYC form 1127. Is there a reason for that? Do i need to complete this form for tax year 2025?

Yes, your wife likely needs to file NYC Form 1127 for the 2025 tax year. Even though she left her city agency in October 2024, New York City requires this filing for any year in which a nonresident city employee receives taxable income from their city employment.
