New york state unemployment source portion

Since unemployment income isn't "earned" income would you include it as New York source portion?

New york state unemployment source portion

Yes.  If the unemployment compensation received from New York State sources is based on wage or salary income earned partly in and partly out of New York State, figure the amount allocable to New York State in the same manner as the wage and salary income on which it is based. See https://www.tax.ny.gov/pubs_and_bulls/tg_bulletins/pit/ny_source_income_nonresident.htm
