When I check the status of my NYS refund it says “The information you have entered does not match our records.” But everything I'm entering matches the information I was given by TurboTax. My SS# is correct on everything and I am entering it correctly.

When did you e-file your New York return? It may take 24-48 hours for their system to update to reflect your return.

In addition, please make sure you are using the correct refund amount requested when you fill out your information on their website.

Lastly, per NYS, if the information you enter when you check your refund status does not match what's in our system, please also verify the following:

Are you entering the whole dollar amount only? For example, $223.45 would be entered as 2 2 3. Also, please make sure you are entering your New York State refund amount and not your Federal refund amount.
Before entering your information for the fourth time, please verify that you are entering the same information that was reported on your New York State return. If the information doesn’t match this time, you’ll be unable to use this service for 24 hours.

I filed on 1/28, accepted on 1/29. I am entering the amount correctly. I spoke to someone at the NYS Taxation Dept. She said it may take 7-10 days after filing for the system to update.

It takes about 7 days for the information you filed to be accessible. After that time you may see the status of your refund online.

Having the same issue, called NYS tax department since its been almost 2 months since I filed my return. They verified me using the address and taxable income, but said the refund amount is actually different but they cannot tell me what the actual amount is. I checked the PDF for state return and the number is what I am inputting. What can be the reason for the difference? The NYS department also said they do not recommend using TurboTax for state filing any more.
