NC state refund audit question

My refund has been in stage 5 for almost 3 months - in March i got a letter from the state after filing requesting more info, so i sent it in, then i got another letter requesting a little more info a month later, and I've sent that info back to them as well about 2 weeks ago. I just checked to see if my refund was still in stage 5, but now it says it's in stage 2 again? I'm very confused. Why did it go backwards after all this time?

Only the state can tell you.   TurboTax gets no information from the state after you file and your return has been accepted for processing.  Contact the state with your questions.
