My wife is a mental health therapist and did telehealth from our Maryland house for clients living in Maryland but we just moved to FL. Will she continue to owe MD taxes?

She plans to continue to practice telehealth from FL for MD Clients where she is licensed. ChatGPT says she will not owe MD taxes as long as she is physically located in FL.

Correct. 

  • Maryland taxes non-residents based on income sourced to the state.Maryland defines Maryland-sourced income as compensation for services performed physically within Maryland.
