My husband is disabled and did not have a w-2 from but it wants a state and zip code for a w-2 form. how do i get rid of the w 2 entry

Please verify that the disability income was not mistakenly entered in the W-2 section.  It is should be entered as Less Common Income (see screenshot).

Once that is verified, please follow these steps:

• Click Federal along the left menu.
• Click Wages and Income along the top menu.  
• Click Edit/Add across from the W-2.
• Click the little trash can on the right. 

If the income was entered in the right location, follow these steps:

• Click Tax Tools in the left menu.
• Click Tools in the left menu.
• When the "Tools Center" box appears, click Delete a form.
• Scroll down to the W-2 and click Delete.
