Multiple returns for one state

If I'm e-filing multiple returns for the same state, do I have to pay the $25 fee for each return?

Yes---there is a fee for each state e-file with the desktop software. Avoid it by printing and mailing the state returns.

Horrible policy. I don't need your software to print out returns and snail mail them! Why should it matter to Turbo Tax if I e-file one return for a state or five returns for a state. Pure greed.
