According to the person I spoke to my Refund is set to be Released today. What does released mean? Online the steps are Processing, Preparing and Sent there is no release!!!!!! Why can't they use the same verbiage?

Mn Renters Refund
@Lsiegle123 Who are you referring to?
Absolutely no one at TurboTax will have any information whatsoever concerning your Minnesota state income tax refund or the Minnesota Property Tax refund.
That type of information is only between you and the Minnesota Department of Revenue.

Mn Renters Refund
@Lsiegle123 TurboTax NEVER tracks your refunds. Neither the IRS nor the state ever shares any information whatsoever with TurboTax after you file your tax return. All TurboTax does is provide you with the software to prepare a do-it-yourself tax return, and then TT gives you an estimated date to receive your refund, which is only based on the average amount of time that it takes to process a federal tax return. TurboTax has no control over when your refund is issued, released or sent. It is up to you to track it with the IRS and/or state. As for the verbiage used---that is also not under TurboTax's control. Your state chooses its own verbiage for the messages it provides to you.
