My husband collected unemployment from MA. We live in MD. Is this considered MA taxable $ or can we claim it as Non-MA since we live in MD.

No, if your husband did not live in MA during the year then you are not required to file an MA return just because the unemployment comes from that state.
MA DOR states that unemployment may be taxable:
"Nonresidents are subject to Massachusetts income tax on unemployment compensation that is related to previous employment in Massachusetts."
