My Maine taxes are getting rejected with code ME1040-1150. It says my reported withholding and what was withheld do not match.
I am a non-resident and my only Maine income is from a real estate sale so there is only one number which has to match.

I have not received any response to this question but figured out the problem myself. It appears to be a problem within Turbotax. For the federal filing, I reported it as a 1099B and included the state withholding because turbotax asked for the information there. However, Maine does not consider this a 1099 withholding so they rejected it. I was able to get it through by removing the state withholding from the Federal 1099 and adding it into Maine's 'other estimated taxes paid'.
That sounds like a reasonable solution. As long as the total tax paid to your account that the government has a record of agrees with the total tax paid in as reported on your tax return, you should be fine.
