MA State Filing

I filed my federal a couple months ago. When I just went to file my state it made me go through the review process of both federal and state. I went all the way through the process including the payment for filing State. Hit the submit and it flagged me saying I'd already filed because it was registering my federal as well. How do I file just the state part?

It depends. The state can only be e-filed if the federal tax return was e-filed. If the federal return was e-filed, then see the following article for directions for: How do I e-file my state after I already filed my federal?
