I received money for working as an Election Inspector in NY State. Is this Taxable for NY State and for the Federal government?

This IRS publication states:
“Who are election workers?
Compensation paid to election workers is includible as wage income for income tax purposes.”
I see no mention of this payment under the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. I assume it is taxable to NY state, as well.
thanks
Yes it is taxable both on the federal and state return. Here is a Turbo Tax link that explains this more in detail.
