Is anyone else having issues unchecking boxes that dont apply to you?

I am trying to file as single and it is forcing me to choose an option between "both you and your spouse this.. or both you and your spouse that"

You can double-check your filing status under the My Info section when entering your return.

You can get to this screen in TurboTax Online by following these steps:

1. Within your tax return click My Info in the black menu bar on the left
2. The second section, under your name and details, shows your filing status, if it is not single click Edit to make changes

Did you resolve this issue? I can’t “uncheck” some boxes

As long as you have set your status to single you can assume any mentions of 'you and your spouse' are just the program covering all the bases.
