IL state taxes

why were my IL state taxes not debited from my bank but my federal were? State taxes were accepted and approved but the state. Bank account was linked for debit of amount owed but was never debited. Why? how can I fix this?

Check the printout or PDF of your return; look for the state cover sheet with the Turbotax logo. If you owed tax, it will show the payment information and how/when you decided to pay. Read the state payment instructions carefully since most states cannot be paid from within the TT system and requires additional steps.

you can pay by sending in IL voucher with check or you can register at IDR website to pay electronically.
