I started my taxes this week, and made a payment using Pay1040.com prior to finishing my form. Where do I enter those payments in Turbo Tax?

Assuming you paid an estimate towards your 2015 federal income tax balance, follow the instructions below for inputting this amount in your tax return:

To report your estimated tax payment(s) in TurboTax Online, go to:

• Federal Taxes
• Deductions & Credits
• Scroll down to "Estimates and Other Taxes Paid"
• Select "Estimates" Click on Start or Revisit
• Select "Federal estimated taxes for 2015 (Form 1040ES)"
• Enter any federal estimated tax payments you made for 2015. Change the dates paid if necessary.
