I no longer live in Virginia, I live and work in Canada, but I am still a VA domiciliary resident. How do I file with TT US? As a non-resident?

I neither lived in nor made money in VA, but am required to file there until I can terminate my VA residency. How should I answer TT questions like "what was your state of residence?" and "in which state did you make money?"

they are asking for my husbands ss but he is not a us citizen, he is not a resident since we live outside US, is he a nonresident alien?
