I need to remove IL from my state return

I'm active duty military stationed in IL but my home of record is MO. I have always filed my federal and MO state taxes using turbo tax but now it wont let me efile because it says there's a problem with my IL return. The state of IL doesn't owe me anything and I don't owe them anything. Can I just remove it from the state return list and efile my MO and federal?
