I need help calculating how much i made in two different states. I moved from California to Colorado in August. I also had two different jobs last year.

It depends.

  1. If you had the same employer in both states: Figure out the number of weeks worked in each state, then divide the wages by those weeks.
  2. Option 2 - review your pay stubs and use the last one you received in one state, subtract those wages from the W-2 and the balance goes to the other state after the move.
  3. For any job where you worked in only one state those wages belong to the state where you lived when you worked there.
