I have a 100 percent permanent and total disability rating from the Veterans Administration , do I qualify for Totally and permanently disabled in the State of Michigan?

There is a checkbox on the Michigan State Income Tax section that says Totally and permanently disabled and I'm wondering if I qualify with my VA rating to check it?  I have the Disabled Veteran checkbox already selected.

Yes, with a 100% disabled VA rating you would qualify for the "Totally and permanently disabled" status.  This assumes you are not over age 66.  This checkbox is related to the homestead exemption for property taxes which will calculate based on your entries.
