i dont have a form it-225

It asking for information about form it-225 but i dont even qualify form that form. how can i get it to stop asking for that information?

Form IT-255 is New York State Modificaitons. If you don't need that form, you can delete it by following these steps while working on your state tax return in TurboTax:

1. Click on Tax Tools in the left menu bar
2. Click on Tools
3. Look under Other Helpful Links and choose Delete a form

Find the form or schedule you want to remove in the list and click on the delete icon to remove it.

Hi thanks you so much for your reply. I deleted it but now its saying that i cant file electroniclly because of a  solar and wind energy carry over. I have no idea what they are talking about. How can i fix this? i much rather efile.

The energy credit is something you would have taken in a previous year, for energy improvement property you purchased, such as new windows or solar panels. If you couldn't use the full credit in the year you purchased the property, you carry the balance over to the next year. It would be reported on a form 5695. You can delete that form but it would result in you losing the credit either in the current or future years.

i pay rent in an apartment build for the last 6 years. iv never dealt with buying windows or anything like that
