I did not live in the United States at all last year, but TurboTax won't let me efile my federal taxes until I file a Connecticut return. How do I get by it?

I listed a Ct address for mailing purposes only and stated that when filling in the box.

TurboTax will not let you e-File a state only return. However, you can select the option "I wish to file by mail" to print and mail the return.

if you have a State return ( e.g. CT ) attached to your filing, delete it.
