The amount is deducted in Part II of the 1040 Schedule C on line 23, Taxes and Licenses.

To enter the amount in TurboTax do the following:

  1. Type Schedule c in Find
  2. Click the Jump to schedule c link
  3. Scroll to Business Expenses
  4. Click Start next to Taxes and Licenses
  5. Enter the description and the amount
  6. Click Continue
