I am filing my Massachusetts non resident return and my income is not listed in line 5. all other numbers seem correct. Federal and Connecticut returns are fine.

I live in CT and work in MA.

One of the forms says, "non resident Total income exceeds Massachusetts income by more than 10%" and asks me to provide an explanation, but the numbers are still wrong. Why doesn't it report my state income?

The Massachusetts section will pull line 5 of Form 1 NR/PY from your W-2 Box 16 state wages. Do you have an entry there with MA as the state code? You should if you work in The Bay State.
