I e-filed my NY return on Feb 5, and it was accepted Feb 6. So far I have still not received the payment as of March 3. When I check the state's website for the status update it just says "It was received, and may require further review, no more information at this time." I'm not sure what's going on... Last year, upon checking, the turn around time was 19 days and this year we're up to 26 so far. Should I be concerned? I know the closer to April the slower it gets, but this seems unusual for me, i don't know. I did claim itemized deductions because of my job, but otherwise the refund amount is only a difference of $150 from last year. Is that enough to hold mine for extensive review, and what should I expect? Thanks!
