File or have filed your 2018 VA state tax return on or before July 1, 2019. Then if you are eligible the state will send you a tax relief payment in October 2019.

I need to file for injured spouse relief. My wife was unemployed all year and my entire refund was applied to her past unemployment debt. She had no income at all.
