Getting "An error exists on this page" Acrobat error when attempting to view Utah State Form TC-40

When viewing the PDF file generated for the Utah state individual income tax return (Form TC-40), I receive an Adobe Acrobat error "An error exists on this page.  Acrobat may not display the page correctly.  Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem."

It only seems to occur on the TC-40 page, others are viewable without the error.  Possibly the bar code is not generated correctly, it only shows as solid black lines.

This did not occur with another state return this year.

I am using Home & Business 2025 for Windows.

I have exactly the same problem. I'm using TurboTax Premier

And using the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader version 2025.001.212188 64-bit on a Windows 11 Surface PC.

To resolve the "An error exists on this page" message in TurboTax, try updating Adobe Acrobat, switching browsers, or clearing your  Cache and Cookies. This issue is often caused by a corrupt PDF file, improper browser handling of the download, or security software restricting access. 

Try saving/opening another copy of your return as a PDF after taking these steps.

The PDF tax file is viewed only with Adobe Acrobat. i.e. not using a browser. Adobe Acrobat is fully updated. I created another tax document (using save to PDF in TT desktop premier). Save problem as before. All other pages (Fed and other State pages (including page 2 of the Utah TC-40) ) do not get the error. Other people have the problem. This seems to be a TT problem. Adobe Acrobat ends the message with "Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem."

If TurboTax is not letting you continue, you can try the following:

Go out of your program and go back in.
Clear your cache and cookies.
Try a different Web Browser.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop make sure all updates have been run on your program. You can do this by clicking on "Online" in the black bar across the top of your TurboTax screen. And then select "Check for Updates".

I am using the desktop version.

I have already updated all components (including TurboTax, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and the system), and reverified today.

I am still getting the same error when attempting to view the TC-40 page of the PDF created by TurboTax.

I have moved the PDF file to another PC (also with the latest Acrobat Reader and system), and the same problem occurs when attempting to view the same page.

Other pages in the PDF file can be viewed without getting the error.

After looking at the Utah forms on the DOR website, it appears that TurboTax desktop is not generating the underlines for all of the fields on the TC-40, TC-40B, and TC-40W forms (names, addresses, numbers, ...).

When opening the PDF file in Acrobat Reader, the "An error exists on this page" error message only occurs when first viewing the TC-40 page.  It does not occur if I first view the TC-40B or TC-40W pages even though the underlines are not being generated; it only occurs once I attempt to view the TC-40 page.
