Form 3805E lines 5,6,& 8 are to be blank but I can't blank them (edit them out)

The 3805E Form shows for the year of sale, part 1, lines 5-18 should be filled in. A carryover of amounts should not be affecting the computation. To clarify the issue, is it causing an error?
