I paid $40 for an extra state download and now I need to pay another $20 to E-File it. Seems like the $40  should have paid for both on top of the $40 I paid for TurboTax Deluxe to begin with.

Yeah...that has always been there..  And starts charging $25 for filing the state (today I think,  except NY)).

With the desktop allowing multiple e-files form the same software set...a family with working teenagers, or senior parents living in the same home, they may be e-filing multiple times. so the $40 ($45 now) software charge doesn't cover all the extra filings.  Would be nice if it would cover one state e-file though.

44.99 for another state return is a RIP OFF.

Will start looking for other software next year.
