I accidently entered the wrong state for my free one state filing.  Have no income in the state that I erroneously entered. Anyway to back out of that and pick a different state to use for free?  Thank you.

You can delete your state return by following these instructions.

Note: If you've already paid your TurboTax state fees or registered your free version with your state return attached, you can't delete your state return.

    1. Sign in and open a section of your return.
    2. From the left menu, select State and then select Continue on the Let's get your state taxes done right screen.
    3. On the Status of your state returns screen, select Delete to the right of your state, then answer Yes.

If you’ve already paid your state fees, you can’t delete your return, but you can start over by selecting Start Over next to your state return on the Status of your state returns screen.

All I did was click on Tennessee instead of Missouri because Tennessee was the first listed state.  I have not entered anything in the Tennessee return.  I do not see a delete option as you suggested.  I am very frustrated as you can go back in every other option on Turbotax but not this?  Ridiculous for us to have to pay for a second state when we have not used Tennessee at all and in some total of all the returns we do, we only need one extra state this year because we live in Texas with no income tax.  Ugh.
