How come I cannot file my NC state taxes now as long a the software has been updated. The NC website says we can go ahead a file with our Federal even though they are not processing them yet due to tax changes.

The North Caroline resident tax return, Form D-400, is estimated to be available to be printed and mailed on 01/27/2022 and available for e-filing on 03/03/2022.
Go to this TurboTax website for NC forms availability - https://care-cdn.prodsupportsite.a.intuit.com/forms-availability/turbotax_nc_online_individual.html
I filed my federal return using TurboTax desktop and have received an email indicating that it was accepted. I couldn't file my NC return due to a missing form in TurboTax. I received an email today from TurboTax indicating the tax forms were now ready. I updated TurboTax and it walked me through the steps to efile my NC state return, including paying the $20 fee, but when I clicked on "Transmit Returns Now", I got an error message saying "Tax Year 2021 transmissions are not available. - TurboTax is not ready to process Tax Year 2021 for this return."
I did the "Send file to Agent" thingy... Token number 919851. What now?
NC e-file isn't scheduled to be available until 2/24/2022. Wait until then.
