Efile Rejected

I was rejected by the IRS I tried 5 times to get the correct AGI from their website. I will not try again it is easier to mail the form in than fight with the IRS. I paid the fee for efiling state return to turbo tax. Can I get a refund if I cannot use this service?

You pay for using TurboTax to prepare your tax returns.  You do not pay for efiling your returns.  There are no refunds if you are unable to efile your return and have to mail it in.  You successfully used the software to prepare your tax return.

Well it seems that even Turbo Tax whom I have trusted and used for years has jumped on the "No Customer Help Wagon" . Maybe they have not tried to obtain information from the IRS. I hope someday they will need to.

I was told by the Turbo Tax Software Deluxe that I needed to pay this $25.00 Plus Tax so that I could efile my State Taxes. Well I am unable to do this so I will file by mail. I hope this $25.00 helps Turbo Tax out.

I had the same issue when filing my parents taxes, I contacted customer support and they advised me to enter 0 for the agi, even though that’s not what the instructions said and also not what was listed for the previous years agi.  It did work though and taxes were finally accepted with 0 as my moms agi.
