Question

Does it not let you edit forms after downloading?

For some reason when I finished filling out the forms it said that it was not available for the e-file and needed to be downloaded, printed, and mailed. I downloaded it. But now I need to go back in and edit some things, and it won't let me. For a few minutes it did let me back in to edit, but then that disappeared. I never pressed a button saying that I was finished, nor did it ever say congratulations or thank you for filing with us. One of my W2s is missing wage information and while the online form said that it was ok to be missing information my fiance says that it is not. I need to request a fixed W2 form from my old place of employment.

To edit the W-2, go to Federal > Wages and Income.  Or delete it entirely and re-enter it.

That's the thing. It won't let me go back and edit it. Turbotax is acting like it is complete and submitted when it isn't. How do I fix this?

If you print for filing the TurboTax thinks you filed and will not let you make changes to a filed return.

To get back in use the "add a state" and it will let you back in.
