Do I need to delete the state and re-enter it if my form had me as part-time resident but I was a full-time resident and when I went to update it didn’t work

When you are done updating your federal return, you need to transfer the new federal information by going back through the state tab and the state return. Nothing will change until you transfer the fed info to the state again. You might need to delete the state return then add it again.

You can try deleting and then selecting it a second time.

To Delete:

For TurboTax Desktop, switch to Forms (Upper right corner)

TurboTax Online:

Select Tax Tools on the left side-bar

Select Tools from that drop-down

Select “Delete a form” on the TOOLS CENTER screen

Select the state return
