I have completed my Delaware State Taxes.  After it runs the error I get the message I can't e-file return due to a non-calendar year return.  When I check the dates on the form it is 01-01-2021 thru 12-31-2021.

We would like to take a deeper look at this. However, we need a diagnostic file which is a copy of your tax return that has all of your personal information removed. You can send one to us by following the directions below:

 TurboTax Online:

1. Sign in to your online account.
2. Locate the Tax Tools on the left-hand side of the screen.
3. A drop-down will appear. Select Tools
4. On the pop-up screen, click on “Share my file with agent.”
5. This will generate a message that a diagnostic file gets sanitized and transmitted to us.
6. lease provide the Token Number that was generated in the response.

TurboTax Desktop/Download Versions:

1. Open your return.
2. Click the Online tab in the black bar across the top of TurboTax and select “Send Tax File to Agent”
3. This will generate a message that a diagnostic copy will be created.  Click on OK and the tax file will be sanitized and transmitted to us.
4. Please provide the Token Number that was generated in the response.

I have not been able to fix the issue. I have sent a copy of my forms. The token number is 974220. I hope you can help me.

You need to change the ending date on your PIT-RES.  You can do this by following these steps:

1. Within your return use the Forms icon to switch to forms mode
2. Scroll down the list on the left until you find PIT-RES under Deleware and click on it
3. At the top of the form in the preview screen, delete the Ending Date of 12/31/2021
4. Then use the Step-by-Step icon to switch away from Forms mode and continue your return
