Does it cost $19.99 to E-File State Taxes in IN?

With the Desktop software...yes  ($25 in March sometime).

Each state tax return that is e-filed is $20 right now  (except NY) .

BUT...you could change to mail-file for just the state, then put ALL the IN paperwork in an envelope, take it to the Post office and mail it in yourself for no extra charge (but some consider that a mess, and not worth the effort )

I paid last night to e-file SC state returns. Then turbo made me file paper. How can I get the refund for the $21.39 charge for filing the state electronically back

To contact TurboTax customer service/support use their contact website during business hours. If the problem concerns any type of refund for fees, use the key words billing issues and do Not use the word Refund or you will get a phone number for tax refunds.
