Do I need to file a City of Detroit tax return if my job is in Detroit but I worked from home full time for 1/2 the year? I do not live in Detroit, but live in a suburb of Detroit.

City of Detroit Tax Return

Yes.

 

You would need to file as  non-resident individual since your income was earned within the City of Detroit.
