We already e-filed Federal and NY state successfully and our filing status for those two are MFJ. Now I am trying to e-file the Maine state tax (non-resident and filing as single, ie. just me without my husband), but TT seems to have problem e-filing because of this. It keeps flagging the info wks saying it expects the individual's name and SS should match what's on the Federal form (by that it means my husband's). But it is me, the spouse, who is filing single with Maine, as I have done so in the past years. I thought I should try to e-file this year but am now running into this trouble on TT. Any suggestions?
