Still cannot download state software (NJ) in Feb 2023. The software checks for the update, says my TurboTax is up to date and stops there and never downloads and installs the state version.
In general, this year 2023 version is buggy. had already uninstall and install once, otherwise, it was not updating the fields with the data. This issue with the state return is very annoying.

What you're describing happens from time to time. Try clearing your browser's cache and deleting your cookies, then try again.

Other stuff:
1) If on a Windows computer...make sure any waiting or partially-installed OS updates are completed. Those are known to block proper TTX installation. Re-boot in any case, even if none are waiting.
2) When you start TTX try rt-clicking on the TTX icon and select "Run as Administrator"...sometimes that helps.
