Can I remove North Carolina from my state taxes? I accidentally put it as a different state when I needed to put it as 1099-NEC.

Well, I have no idea as to whether you need NC or not...but to remove it.

1) Go to the MY Info section, and take out NC as the "Other" state you worked in

then
