I can not file my taxes do to TurboTax saying CA Form 3801 in not ready and will be ready soon. I click the update every day and it says your up to date. When I look at the 3801 Form it says in the right corner in red (Do not file) Can someone please shed some light on this for me. I tried to call TurboTax for the last 3 hours I believe one live person works there.

Form CA 3801, Passive Activity Loss Limitations for tax year 2021 is estimated to be finalized and available in TurboTax on 03/03/2022
Go to this TurboTax website for California state forms availability - https://care-cdn.prodsupportsite.a.intuit.com/forms-availability/turbotax_ca_online_individual.html
CA Form 3801 is available to download from the Franchise Tax Board website. Why is it not available to Turbotax???
It is not the fault of CA or the Fed. There was also a problem with Schedule K-1 just like CA 3801 but that recently got updated.
This is 100% Intuit's problem. Not having completed their software product for 2021 before selling it.
I have been ready to file since 2/2 and will be getting a sizable refund. If the estimate of not getting 3801 resolved till 3/3 is true, Intuit should be paying everyone that is delayed a month's wort of interest on their refund.
In case it helps Intuit. You have a bad "goto" or "if" statement in your code. You are trying to go to the "active participation" section while this is and has been for years, a "passive activity". You are trying to fill in Lines 1a-d dealing with "active Participation" when you should be going to lines 2a-2d. You have done this right for years. Go to TurboTax 2020 and copy the **bleep** code from there.
Is there anyone else out there how is stuck waiting for from 3801 when they have no passive activity losses? I've gone over return multiple times and can not figure out why it thinks I need a 3801 when my rental property has positive income and has had positive income since I put it into service in 2018. If anyone else has experience this problem and found a fix, please chime in.
Yes 3801 form is still not available it is intuit's issue they dropped the ball big time. File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau demand your money back plus interest on your refund I see a class action suit coming soon for this. Totally unacceptable to sell you a product that is not updatable by the February 3rd filing date for California, all mine keeps on saying is form 3801 will be ready soon I've called them repeatedly they cannot give me a time frame on when this form will be updated. Absolutely 100% unacceptable file a complaint
